The Arnold Police Officers Association (APOA) and its 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, Behind The Badge Inc., are dedicated to helping others and building a better, stronger community. 

Through impactful initiatives, the APOA provides critical support to Arnold Police Officers and their families—particularly during serious medical challenges and life-threatening incidents—while also offering essential assistance to individuals and families within our community who need it most.

At the heart of our mission is the belief in the power of collective action to create lasting change and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. We pursue and accomplish these goals through several key initiatives:

The APOA organizes annual events that raise funds for charitable causes while strengthening the bond between officers of the Arnold Police Department and the community we proudly serve. These events foster mutual understanding, build relationships, and create a critical support system for both our officers and community members.

Signature events such as the Arnold Back the Blue Trivia Night and the Back the Blue Car Show highlight the spirit of connection and collaboration. These initiatives enable the APOA to maintain the Officer Benevolent Fund, which provides essential support to officers facing challenging circumstances, and the Community Support Fund, which offers assistance to community members and outreach programs throughout the year.

Each December, the APOA disburses over $17,000 to hundreds of children and families in need through our cherished Shop with a Hero program. This initiative brings joy, relief, and hope to countless families in Arnold and the surrounding communities.

By offering direct support, we demonstrate our unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of those who need it most, extending far beyond our responsibilities as law enforcement officers.

By donating a portion of our proceeds each year and collaborating with these organizations, we amplify our collective impact, addressing critical community needs and creating lasting change.
